Captain Eric Clayton opened Siesta Key Fishing Adventures after a life long passion for fishing and enjoying the comradery that spending a day pursuing trophey fish on the water brings.  His 30+ years years of intense recreational and tournament fishing in the Gulf of Mexico provides the highest level of fishing techniques and knowledge.

The 32' Yellowfin is a world class fishing vessel  with NOAA Federal Fisheries Charter Permits allowing us to take you beyond 9 miles offshore Sarasota to great fishing.  She is a top of line offshore center console fishing boat that is maintained clean and is fast, dry, safe, comfortable, and fully loaded with electronics, fishing gear, offshore safety and 1st aid gear.  The Yellowfin cruises considerably faster than typical charter boats and allows access to more remote fishing grounds on comparable length trips to maximize your fishing time and chances of a great catch.  Powered by extremely quiet and virtually smoke free Mercury Verado motors there are no fumes to make you queazy like diesel charter boats.   

 

The Gulf of Mexico and bay waters around Sarasota and Siesta Key offer a diverse world class fishing and a thriving offshore and inshore eusturary environments.  Sarasota fishing includes hungry kingfish, grouper, permit, snapper,  tuna, sharks, great barracuda, and wahoo are targeted in the gulf and redfish, trout, flounder,  snook and tarpon are chased inshore or along the beaches.   Year round there are always fish to target with high success while charter fishing Sarasota.   We often practice catch and release and recommend people keep only what they ensure can be enjoyed fresh.
