

Great Spring turning to Summer
Spring has always been my most anticipated fishing season, and this year has been no exception. I have been hooked on catching kingfish since about 5th grade and always look forward to their return to our waters in the spring and fall. This year several strong northerly cold fronts in early March kept them south a few weeks later than I would have thought, but since mid March we have had an exception run with fish averaging 15-lbs and many in the mid 20's and several over


Red Snapper is Red Hot
With the exception of one day, the weather and conditions were ideal for opening week of Red Snapper season. Runs offshore of 40 - 65 miles have resulted in exciting trips and limits of red snapper, and a full mixed bag of dolphin, tuna, grouper, and scamp. Each trip has had quality fish as well of several large fish that found ways not to be landed. The red snapper season runs until June 14 for Federally Permitted Charter Boats like ours. March Madness
Chamber of Commerce weather, clear water, lots of fish, and great customers have made for a great month. Kingfish are still schooled up and cooperating really well. One trip last week encountered kings skyrocketing out of the water and schools of kings chasing bait all around and under the boat. New Year Fishing
Hapy New Year! The New Year has brought some fantastic fishing trips and a new website! Hope you enjoy the site and can get out fishing with us soon! Both Red Grouper and Amberjack have reopen this month and will allow offshore anglers great mid range trips. Large red grouper to 21-lbs were released in December and will give customers a run for their money this month.
